Avanade, a leading company in the development of Cloud solutions with Microsoft technologies, is selecting a Devops System Engineer for the Rome office .
The selected resource will be allocated to project activities in the Private Cloud, On-Prem Infrastructure and DevOps areas.
The ideal candidate is a brilliant graduate in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent culture and has developed an experience of at least 2 years in the Iaas / Paas field on Openstack, AWS, Vmware and Openshift Container Platform technologies. Indispensable previous Unix experience on OS RHEL / Centos.
Based on the customer's needs, he will have to propose value-added solutions, managing the infrastructure through CI / CD, supporting the various DevOps and Dev teams.
He has excellent knowledge of both written and oral English, in order to be able to interact with the various groups located in the various regions.
Knowledge of bash and python language, compilation of playbook ansible and continuous integration, delivery and application methodologies , application troubleshooting and server issues will be considered indispensable requirements .
Nice to have: have obtained at least one of the following AWS Certified Solutions Architect, RHCSA, ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certifications. Knowledge of videostreaming platforms (Harmonic, Image Communication, CloudFront) Live, VOD and NPVR, content distribution via CDN and POP, management of encrypted video formats (Verimatrix, Fairplay, PlayReady and Widevine) HLS and DASH.
Monitoring logs analysis (PRTG, Zabbix, Icinga); prioritize activities through issue tracking tools (Jira, ServiceDesk).
